MAPAL France is established in Paris. The subsidiary moves to the Lyon area later.

MAPAL founds the subsidiary MAPAL UK in Rugby, England.
MAPAL acquires the company WWS located in Pforzheim, Germany, expanding its portfolio to include PCD tools.

1994

1995

With the joint venture Hungarian Tool Consulting & Management Ltd. (HTCM), Tool Management Services (TMS) are offered for the first time.
By founding the Joint Venture GPT in Singapore, MAPAL has its first subsidiary in the Far East.
In addition to its existing US location in Hackensack, New Jersey, established in 1977, MAPAL acquires the company AARO in Port Huron, Michigan, developing it with substantial investments. The first location in the US in New Jersey is later given up.

MAPAL do Brasil is founded in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
MAPAL ISOTOOL is established in Sinsheim, Germany, as a precursor to MAPAL ITS GmbH. Complex actuating tools for ISO environments are developed and produced there.

By founding the joint ventures MAPAL China and MAPAL Taiwan, MAPAL has a local presence in important growth markets. MAPAL Switzerland is also founded in the same year.

2001

MAPAL acquires the South Korean tool manufacturer SWS, rebranding it MAPAL HTT (HiTechTools) in 2004.
MAPAL India is established in Bangalore. The location includes a production plant.
2002

2003

MAPAL acquires Miller GmbH & Co. KG in Altenstadt, Germany, adding solid carbide drilling tools to its portfolio.

August Beck GmbH & Co. KG in Winterlingen, Germany, which manufactures multi-bladed reamers, becomes part of the MAPAL Group.
Together a Mexican toolmaker, MAPAL founds the joint venture Frhenosa in Monterrey.

By purchasing the Werkzeugtechnik Ehrenfriedersdorf (WTE), MAPAL acquires expertise in the production of clamping tools.

MAPAL acquires Weisskopf Werkzeuge GmbH in Meiningen, Germany, which specialises in drilling and milling tools made of solid carbide.
